ncshuriken: +That Rad Guy And because the game follows the same retro-future aesthetic as the 79 movie it picks up from (although it wasn't retro back then!). The whole game is like the future, as imagined in the 80's, all the analogue displays, cassette tapes and other stuff. I like it this way, its a nice touch IMO, it makes it feel like it was made in the same era as Alien rather than 30+ years later!
